The Writing Lab provides face-to-face and online writing support to university and
community clients. Under the direction of Dr. Jake Gaskins, the tutors
in the Writing Lab

will help you with your writing
at any stage of the process
(be sure to read ways tutors help);

provide help on a drop-in and
appointment basis;
-
offer in-class presentations;
-
advise and assist
you regarding
the 75-Hour Writing Proficiency requirement.
What Writing Lab tutors will NOT
do is simply proofread your paper; please read the
policy on
proofreading.
What to bring with you:

A draft of your paper if you have one
- but we can help even before you start writing.

The assignment from your instructor.

Some idea about the kind of help you
need. Is it comma usage? Organization?
Reference format? It's easier for the tutor to help
you if you have a clear idea what you're asking for.
