The Writing Lab, located in room
412 of Kent Library, provides face-to-face and online writing support to university and
community clients. Under the direction of Dr. Jake Gaskins, the tutors
in the Writing Lab

will help you with your writing
at any stage of the process
(be sure to read ways tutors help);

provide help on a drop-in and
appointment basis;
-
offer in-class presentations;
-
advise and
assist you regarding the 75-Hour Writing Proficiency requirement.
What Writing Lab tutors will NOT
do is simply proofread your paper; please read the
policy on
proofreading.
The Online Writing Lab is available to
provide similar services via the web.
