WRITING CENTER HOURS

SPRING 2008

The Writing Center, located in room 412 of Kent Library, provides face-to-face writing support to university and community clients.  Under the direction of Dr. Jake Gaskins, the tutors in the Writing Center

• will help you with your writing no matter what stage your essay is at (be sure to read ways tutors help);

• provide help on a drop-in and appointment basis;

• offer in-class presentations;

• advise and assist you regarding the 75-Hour Writing Proficiency requirement.

What Writing Center tutors will NOT do is simply proofread your paper; please read the policy on proofreading.
